You don't get to choose who you fall in love with, it happens, and the Government and Religious leaders should respect each persons right to love who they love!
Kelley, Hi! Yes, I travel the garden route often, it is magic because it changes so much throughout the year. I have bought gifts for people with watercolours painted on that dung paper! I don't use it because i work in oil on canvas, but it is actually lovely!Suzi-khttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00338300048993883066noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34333289.post-59090849924707410392007-07-27T21:17:00.000+02:002007-07-27T21:17:00.000+02:00Glad to hear you are feeling better. It is interesting to read about the past and you do a good job of telling it.
I watched a show here last week on South Africa and it showed the Garden Route. I wondered if you had travelled it. It looks really cool. They did some highlights in Cape Town and George. They ended in Port Elizabeth but didn't really show any of the town. I was hoping they would as I feel like I could pick out some places after reading your blog. There was one really interesting piece on a fellow in George who makes art paper out of animal dung. Hmmm are you going to try painting on that? :)
Keep up the great posts
KellyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34333289.post-68556733733467831732007-07-27T20:51:00.000+02:002007-07-27T20:51:00.000+02:00First I must say how glad I am your knee is feelin...First I must say how glad I am your knee is feeling so much better; and how romantic to have a candlelit dinner :o)
The issue of the prohibition of mixed marriages saddens me...love knows no creed nor colour.
Stay well
RxRUTHhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11389012059140660415noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34333289.post-35504511963095157832007-07-27T18:56:00.000+02:002007-07-27T18:56:00.000+02:00I always thought how sad it was for people to be f...I always thought how sad it was for people to be forced to live that way. But as you wrote, the beauty and strength of the human spirit shines through in the museum.
On another topic, great news that you have had you op. I hope you continue to feel better...
and are soon cooking again..
;o)Sheilahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06731396546695910306noreply@blogger.com
