Skywatch Friday #?....lost track!

On our way to St Francis recently, we went through a storm, and the sun was lighting up the rain in bands as it fell, creating veils of light across the sky.

Here are some more views of it, but taken while driving so excuse the bug splats!
Many people around the world participate in Skywatch Friday. To see lots of great sky pics, go to Dot's at Strolling through Georgia, and you can link through Mr Linky to visit them.
YAY, Jenty has given me a 'Be the Blogger' award.
The original motivation for this is to give to successful bloggers, the criteria being "what I mean by successful is that they make it their own, stay with it, are interactive with their readers, and just plain have fun."
As this blog is a no tag zone, I will just say thanks so much Jenty, it is really appreciated, and in turn, I enjoy all the blogs I visit regularly, and hate having to single anyone out, so please consider yourself awarded!

Wonderfuly sky show! And an excellent job capturing it considering you did it while driving!

Please be careful, drive by photography can be hazardous to your health :)

Very beautiful. Almost religious. Or simply showing out how amazing nature can be.

The light in the last shot seems to be a great heavenly hand reaching through the clouds! These are very beautiful.

I often think that it looks like a spotlight from heaven when the sun shines through the clouds this way. It makes me curious to know what is in the spotlight below!

Have a great weekend!

Very nice shots!
I've never put any limits on the sky pictures so if you want to include the water that will be great too. I've seen all kinds of things. lol. I think mostly I feel that MY pictures are boring because I don't have much imagination with them.

What a lovely moment to catch. Look at how the sky is turning blue just behind the cloud bank.

The cloud is wonderful. I like the textures and colors of it: it is so dramatic. And then the sun: it is like a metaphor of life: darkness and hope. My Skywatch is here. Thank you.
