This 'n that again

First I must tell you a little family story. My sister and her husband really struggled to have children. They tried and tried. At last the good news arrived that BJ was expecting not one, but 2 babies! (This was confirmed by her doctor when they had been down to visit us on holiday, and we kept ragging her that she was way too huge to just be having one!) In due course she gave birth to the twins, but they were very premature, they had Hylene membrane (don't know how to spell that) and it was literally touch and go for weeks whether they would survive at all. Anyway that was 26 years ago and the miracle twins have grown up into 2 delightful and individual people! Happy birthday guys, love you lots!

Here is Lau and her husband Mark, with the white cliffs of Dover in the background
And Pete and Jo at their wedding in Clarens a few years ago. (They now have a delightful son)
Yesterday I promised to show you the wild seas we had during Monday's storm, this is the New Brighton Pier, which is usually high above the water, and from which people regularly fish, anyone trying that on Monday would have had some nasty shocks!
Daily pix:
You are getting really familiar with these stone crosses by now, this was the result of another sunrise stroll, and the full moon was in the right place at the right time!

Love the stone cross and full moon photo....has a certain mysteriousness to it. And the one of the "angry" sea is fantastic.

Lovely story about your sister and her babies....now all grown up and having a birthday. Happy birthday to them.

I like the photo of the cross and the moon, it has an air about it, very nysterious. That sea looks pretty angry..
