The blue of the sky makes one focus on the moon --as it was downloading I could only see the blue sky and the cross on the steeple and I wondered if there was more and sure enough!
Thanks everyone, no photoshop here Dot, it's real! But i was lucky that it was sunrise and very bright, so i was able to stop the camera down to get enough depth of field to keep the moon and the cross in focus.
Great photo Suze..! The moon has been visible all day long today, I wanted to take a photo, but it is too high in the sky, and wouldn't make for a very good picture. I love the colour of the stone against the sky here too. Have a great weekend.. xx
Thanks for your kind comments. Being in the forest at that time was really "Magic" it was like walking around in a storybook. It was a cold morning, you can see some snow if you take a closer look.
Interesting color play and composition with the warm yellows and browns of the church against the deep blue sky with a beautiful full moon just the right place to accent it all!
Thanks for visiting Country Captures, I'll be back! Your stories of graft and corruption are riveting!
Well, it is a reflection of me, so it is chatty, varied, unscheduled, opinionated…. and reflects my passion for old buildings, restoration, books, travel, family, art etc. I have discovered in myself a tour guide I didn’t know was there, she loves sharing info about places I go to. Because I am a photography fanatic, it is full of pictures to illustrate my ravings.
"Each time a man or woman stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a ripple of hope and crossing each other from a million different centres of energy and daring, these ripples build a current that can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance."
