The greenhouse on my previous post is my greenhouse. I did grow the flowers there. Thanks for visiting and for leaving your kind words. :)

Yoy should have added sound to that one - "Blue moon" of course".

A beauty.

PS Thank you for nice comments - the book you refer to may have been by David Bodanis

That blue is so vibrant! With the moon in such a bright sky, the whole photo almost looks surreal!

Wow, good composition.

Perfection! That sky is so blue, and the moon is just gorgeous.

The blue of the sky makes one focus on the moon --as it was downloading I could only see the blue sky and the cross on the steeple and I wondered if there was more and sure enough!

Simply amazing.

Thanks everyone, no photoshop here Dot, it's real! But i was lucky that it was sunrise and very bright, so i was able to stop the camera down to get enough depth of field to keep the moon and the cross in focus.

Yep, Captured well, very well indeed.

Great photo Suze..!
The moon has been visible all day long today, I wanted to take a photo, but it is too high in the sky, and wouldn't make for a very good picture.
I love the colour of the stone against the sky here too.
Have a great weekend..

Thanks for your kind comments. Being in the forest at that time was really "Magic" it was like walking around in a storybook. It was a cold morning, you can see some snow if you take a closer look.

Interesting color play and composition with the warm yellows and browns of the church against the deep blue sky with a beautiful full moon just the right place to accent it all!

Thanks for visiting Country Captures, I'll be back! Your stories of graft and corruption are riveting!
