How would you characterize this blog?
Well, it is a reflection of me, so it is chatty, varied, unscheduled, opinionated…. and reflects my passion for old buildings, restoration, books, travel, family, art etc. I have discovered in myself a tour guide I didn’t know was there, she loves sharing info about places I go to. Because I am a photography fanatic, it is full of pictures to illustrate my ravings.

Oh my. I hadn't dropped into your blog for awhile, then you left a message on mine referencing the "scare" you'd had. Scare indeed! I am happy to see that Max is doing so well. Sending good thoughts to you and my wishes for a speedy recovery. Today is Thanksgiving here in the US. I'm thankful for good doctors and modern medicine.
Waaaah! So late to all this drama and scariness. I had not dropped by for a week and what a lot changed in that time! I am so sorry you have both had all this horror and wish Max and you a speedy recovery. I think after all this you'll both need a holiday in the Spring and I know just the place...
