Skywatch Friday, and Max Update

Hi, thanks to all in blogland who have sent such encouraging and caring messages. Max is really touched, and I know he has gained strength from the care coming his way, as have I. He goes in for a quadruple bypass this morning. .....will keep you posted, if somewhat erratically!

Hiya (from the other side of the world). Tell that uncle of mine to get himself better. Please send him my love. Mom is also sending me all the updates.

Love your blog (and Max's too) - finally found it so now i can also get regular family updates here too :). Your paintings and photography are inspirational and making me want to get back out into the photography world again.

I think it is a credit to you that you've posted today.. I know from what I've been through what a worrying time this is for you all..
If these clouds do have a silver lining it will be that Max makes a full recovery and he is back at his P.C. posting again soon, and chasing you all about.
He is in my thoughts.

Suzi, So sorry to hear about Max. I'm glad that he is able to get the medical help that he needs and that you and he will change the way you do things to keep both of you healthy. You two have such a great relationship that we all want to see it keep going for a very long time to come.
Take care of yourself as well. I know its easier said than done right now. Thinking of you both and for a speedy recovery for Max.

Thanks all, he was looking much better when i left at 8pm than he did at 5.30! And when I phoned at 3am they said he was resting peacefully. There was a problem while i was there earlier, because the morphine drip was depressing his breathing, so they had to reduce it, but then he was in a lot of pain, so they kept juggling it. But at 9 they were able to give him another oral pain medication, which has helped, and he is breathing better.

oh and tom... I don't know so much about credit, the posting is helping the time pass and keeping me sane!

Hey Cara, cool to see you pop up here, will definitely pass it on! And as you may see from reply to other post comments, a trip to Scotland is hopefully still on the cards for April, so hope we will see you then!
